Technical talk on Use of Chemical and Mineral admixtures for Sustainable Concrete at Cochin on 30th July 2019

Qcrete Readymix (India) Pvt. Ltd in association with Indian Concrete Institute, Kochi organized a technical talk on Use of Chemical and Mineral admixtures for Sustainable Concrete on 30th July 2019 evening. The program was conducted at hotel Classik Fort, Petta. Including Engineers, Industrialists and Builders there were 60 number of attendees for the function.

Welcome address and a brief about ICI was given by Er.MA Joseph, Chairman ICI.

Mr.K R Biju, Sr. Manager Business delivered a brief introduction about Speaker of the day, Er. VR Kowshika.

Er. V R Kowshika Technical Director, Qcrete Readymix (India) made the presentation on the following topics:

  1. History of Readymix Concrete
  2. Different types of admixtures used in Readymix Industry
  3. Benefits of mineral admixtures
  4. Proper ways to handle mineral admixtures
  5. Usage of Supplementary Cementatious Materials

After this a question answer section was conducted for 20 minutes. Ms. Anjali Pious Vilangadan, Officer Techno marketing, proposed the vote of thanks and the program ended with dinner for all.
